Because they want us to think our babies are fat. Seriously I have no clue. DS still fits into a few 0-3 month onesies from Carters but he is in 6-9 month Gerber onesies. I really don't get it.
It is so annoying. I didn't know how small they were, so when I got out the 6 month onesies they didn't fit already and DD was only about 2 months old. Her 12 month onesies don't fit already, while her 9 month Carter's stuff fits perfectly. I know she's big, but she's not 18 month clothes big.
This is too funny. When DD was born she was 7 lbs. 6oz and fit perfectly into the 3-6 mo. gerber onesies. now she's in 6-9. Do they test out their sizing on actual babies?!
It's absolutely bizarre that they haven't caught on to their sizing issue. DS is two months, only in the 10-25th percentile for height and weight and is fitting comfortablly in the 6-9 month size.
Re: Why do Gerber clothes run so small??
I don't know! G is only 9 weeks and her 0-3 month onesies are getting tight!
I agree it's annoying. What's the point of having "justborn" and "newborn". I wish they would fix the issue.
