NT Scan...how much water

in 1st Trimester

I have my NT Scan on Monday and can't remember how much water it is I need to drink before hand...is it 24 or 32?

I hate that they make you drink so much water and hold it. UGH.

    Where do you get yours done?  I had mine at the hospital and didn't have to drink any.  In fact they always made me empty my bladder before the scan.  I think it depends on the equipment they have though....

    Usually it is 32oz, but I could never hold that much in so I just drank until I felt full which would be about 20oz or so... To be said though I had a external u/s at 8 weeks with an empty bladder and they had no trouble viewing anything.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

    I have mine on Monday too! My paperwork says "Drink 2-3 8oz glasses 45 minutes prior to the exam." Good luck!

    I had mine this morning, and I had to " come with full bladder" So I drank about 40 OZ, she said it was the fullest bladder she had seen.? She checked my ovaries then had me pee becuase my bladder was pushing baby up like right under my boobs, it was amazing!? Then it took so long I had to go again becuase my bladder filled up!!! haha.? I think I could have drank 20 OZ and been good!

    I didn't have to drink any. In fact when we started, the u/s tech told me my bladder was too full and asked me to go empty it.

    I had my nt scan and they just tell you to drink as much as you can.  Don't go crazy.  Bring a water bottle with you if you need to drink more.  It's no big deal.
