I'm looking for a bathtub, but some of them are around $60! I can't bring myself to pay this much. Plus, I've gotten mixed reviews on a number of the ones I'm looking at.
What are you getting?

We got one at our shower, I would guess it was around $60. It is a shower/bath center and spa with the sprayer thing. I am thinking about taking it back and getting a regular bath and buying something else we need. It is pretty cool though, something we would of never bought ourselves!

I jsut bought the Fisher Price Planet Whale Tub. It was like $22 at Target. I almost bought a pricier one, but my daughter outgrew her tub when she started sitting up at 6 months. So, at 6 months we bought her the inflatable ducky tub (I think Munchkin make it) that we bought at Target for $10. So, I didn't see the need for a pricey tub.
we started out with this because it was easier to put him in the sling but he quickly outgrew it because of his height and it looked uncomfortable.
But we quickly changed to this when he could sit supported a bit better (there is a little seat with sides so they can stay supported) - I love the Eurotub, my 16 month old LOVES it. I may try it with the baby but we still have the other one just in case.
You can definately get bath tubs for cheaper than 60 dollars. Just look around. Walmart i know for sure has them less than that. I believe they have some for 25 or so
I got this one. From the reviews, people either love it or hate it. It looks like if you don't seal it right, it leaks, but if you do seal it right, it works great. We have a small house so I like that it stores more compactly than the others. Plus, DH and I are pretty handy, so I'm not worried about us being able to get it to seal properly.
That's the tub I had with my daughter and it was great until she started to sit up. Then she really wanted to sit, not lean back. I wish I could remember what I did with it. I must have given it to someone.
I'll bathe the baby in the kitchen sink for a while (much easier than a baby bath) - I got a big sponge to put at the bottom so she won't slip around, and then move her to the big tub when she can sit up by herself.
I was a nanny for years and this is what I did with the infants.
Re: What bathtub did you buy?
We're registered for the Primo Eurobath.

We used this until DD was able to go in the tub on her own, loved the sling. My sister borrowed it and loved it and I plan I re-using it again
I bought this adorable sponge pad (in frog shape):
