Okay.....need date ideas for the next MNO.

Spoke with my boss and he gave me the "OK" to invite y'all in for appetizers and drinks. FREE appetizers (I'll make sure there are plenty and if you also want our signature salad, I'll take care of that too) and I have a "fun" martini list for $5 martinis and we'll have some wines by the glass for under $6 per glass. (Ours usually start around $8). I'll set up an area in the bar to do "buffet style" appetizers and there will be plenty of room to walk around, sit or stand and mingle. NOTE: smoking is allowed at our bar....just in case anyone is allergic.

Let me know if you want me to PM you the restaurant....as I stated before, I prefer not to post my place of employment on this public forum.

Okay.....so, due to my maternity leave, I have no vacay time left, so I'm here ALL of the time. I wont be able to join in the drinking, but I'll definitely get to visit. Any day except Sundays works for me. Date suggestions?

Weeknights can be hard due to my work schedule sometimes but I am actually free the last week of June and would love to get to know everyone better at a GTG since I am fairly new to the board. sounds like a lot of fun, though I won't be able to partake in any of the wonderful drinks!

Coming to this really late...

I could honestly do any of these, but I would prefer July 10th. My sisters will be gone by then and I will only have to find a sitter for 1 as opposed to 3.

I think I PM'd everyone who asked. If I missed you, let me know. If you remember the name of the restaurant, we have a website you can easily find to check out for location etc.

Sounds like July 10th may be the best date. When I get to work this afternoon, I'll double check our reservations to make sure the bar is open that day to confirm the date (I'm about 99% sure that it's fine but just want to check.) I'll post about it when I get there.

I think any date someone isn't going to be able to make it. I will be oot for my high school reunion June 19th, but I completely understand if that is what works for most people. I will throw out there that that weekend is Father's Day. That shouldn't affect Friday night, but you know, knowledge is power and all that.

I agree. In a perfect world we'd all have calendars that would mesh, but that's really not going to happen. I think we'd have to plan six months out for that!
