the nurses that would come up to my hospital room happily and pick up the CC's of breastmilk that I had pumped. Even when it was a Teeny Tiny amount. I am so thankful for that. Never once did they grumbl or laugh at how little it was. It really made me feel like I was doing something for my child.?

I love that..
I had the opposite problem...I have an over supply and they come and pick up 24-30 oz and never complain about making several trips.
Not to be insensitive to the opp of my problem, sorry if it sounded that way
This is a good weekly open post for the board...
When a nurse would talk to Robbie. Instead of just adjusting his settings and making sure he was alive, they actually spoke to him in a sweet voice (or a disapproving one if he was "being bad.") like he was a real baby with a real life.

I had the same positive experience with the tiny amounts of milk I was pumping. They were so excited if I could just get him an ounce!
I was very thankful for his nurses that decorated his room. They made him a cute little bulletin board and made things to attach to his bed. He was born a few days before the SuperBowl, the year the Giants won, and his name is Eli, so they went with the whole football theme, it was so cute!
Ditto this 100%. Our primary nurses are amazing. And I love that they call him by his first name and talk to him about the day, instead of just Baby Last Name and never talk TO him. I love that they listen to me, and let me call once a day or 10 times a day if I feel like it, and never gafaw when it's the 10th time. I love that if I want something done or am concerned about something, they act on it. (I.e last night D's lead was acting up, and even though it was probably fine and just a placement issue, they changed it into a new one anyway)
I am thankful that my NICU is very supportive of BF and our LC is awesome. I am thankful for a lot, I love our NICU.
