Ob/Gyn in Hermosa Bch or Torrance?

Hi ladies/mom's,

We are about to begin TTC and I wonder if anyone hase recommendations or warnings for OB/GYNs in the Southbay, particularly ones who are not opposed to allowing doulas in the delivery room.  As well as hospitals in SBay that have birthing stools or bars?

    ok, duh, if I had just read a bit further i would have seen your recommendations for ob/gyns in SBay. ;-)SOunds like Dr Naghi is well liked.

    Hi there.  I just moved to the area and heard wonderful things about Dr. James Scharffenberger.  I finally got to meet with him two weeks ago, and really like him.  I asked the same question about doulas, and he's not opposed to them at all.

    Scharffenberger is my OB/GYN and he is great and highly recommended. I had 2 other friends that used him, and they are both in the medical field.

    I really like Dr Naghi (has office in Torrance & Manhattan Beach).  Torrance Memorial is a great hospital too! Dr. Naghi is my ob (been wonderful and helpful so far).

    dr. denise ishimaru at little company of mary. she's my sister in law, a wonderful person, so kind and sweet - and an awesome doctor.

    Dr. Lisa Fisher is Dr Scharffenberger's partner and I really enjoyed working with her. ?Plus, i can't say enough great things about little company of mary hospital!!! ?so wonderful and filled with great nurses?

    Dr. Lisa Fisher is the best.  I wish she was closer.  We live in Encino now but considering driving to Torrance for appts and maybe delivery at Little Company of Mary.

    Almost 4 wks now (hope this one sticks) and it's very difficult researching doctors in the Santa Monica Area. Any suggestions?  I just made an appt with Dr. Tristan Bickman. Anyone know her?
