What?s a Clothes Swap? We bring clean, at least play clothes quality children?s clothes (from preemie to size 16), women?s, men's, and/or maternity/nursing clothes that are sorted into sizes to Christ the Redeemer between the hours of 10am and 7pm on May 28.
We sort the clothes that we have brought (there are no hired hands here to do it for us!) onto the corresponding ?size? tables, and (here?s the fun part) TAKE WHAT WE NEED (please, no resalers)! There are no strings attached. It?s free. It?s everyday families in our community helping each other.
Any clothes that you have that are in good shape are welcome?shirts, pants, dresses, coats, pajamas, matched socks with no holes, whatever you have that you?d like to share. We?re looking forward to seeing you there?and bring a friend or two!
It?s like shopping at a garage sale for free?and you get rid of ?stuff? (clothes, shoes, and baby items--please no formula) from around your house, to boot (and you don?t have to wait two weeks for the truck to pick it up)! Typically a few hundred families participate, so there tends to be a wide selection of good quality clothes from which to choose. Leftovers are donated to local charities who will pass the clothes on to people who need them. We hope you can come!
