Noggin update

We went to see the Duke doc yesterday.  Like we thought he said that everything looks good and we should just continue to monitor the head circum growth.  BabyHill is growing normally and progressing normally with no symptoms of increased pressure (vomiting/headaches).  He said there was no need for us to come back unless the circum grew dramatically.  He did want BabyHill to see the eye doc again to check for increased pressure behind the eyes (one of the first signs of increased pressue can be seen in the eyes.)  The soft spot is starting to close, so everything is on the right track.  I asked him about what he thought about a cause.  Skip this if you don't want to hear about MMR.  He said it's quite likely that it was a reaction to one of the virus' in the MMR and has taken this long (almost a year now) to work itself out.  He said he has seen other cases (mostly more severe) of exactly the same reaction.  He said he recognizes it but the pedi wouldn't necessarly know or have special need to warn about this reaction.  It's very very rare.  (So don't freak out.)  All the same, I think we'll be skipping the booster.
