Yes and loved it. I wanted a natural birth with Eve, but plans got changed for medical reasons. I'm still so glad that I had a midwife. She made such a difference. If we have another, I would love to do a home birth or at least, go to the birthing center here in Sac.
If you have netflix you can instant view it on netflix. It was informative, but pretty one-sided, and made the non med free seemed way scarier than needs to be (IMO)
loved it as well - didnt think I would ever see Ricki Lake wuite like that! It was good and gave info you wouldnt normally get with a reg doctor - food for thought I would watch it again
I watched it off of netflix too and liked it. Like the pp said it is definately one sided, but I also feel like my birthing class at Kaiser was pretty one sided on the " go for medication " side. So I appreciated the information and will hopefully have a med free birth next time around !

I watched it and it was as expected, not bad.
I received the complete opposite at my Kaiser classes - I kept hearing the "no meds", go natural. Then again this was coming from a doula not a nurse or MD.
Re: Did you see Business of being born??
I rented it on Netflix.
It was interesting to watch, though it definitely only told one point of view.
