So my cousin (Devyn's mom) was shopping at the fresh market yesterday with her husband. A man, looks about 90 years old, walks up to her, places his hand on her shoulder and says to her " he wanted me to tell you that he is okay." Nikki responded by saying "EXCUSE me sir?".. He says "He is okay now and he wanted you to know that.".. He then walked away. Nikki was in so much shock that she just stood there and didnt ask him anything, didnt chase after him.. nothing. Her husband thinks the guy has been following them around town.. like stalking them.. my coworkers seem to think it's a scam.. People taking the chance that someone lost someone special.. say something like this that grabs attention, gets them in the door to do palm readings and then charges for more..
This is NOT a joke, or made up. This actually happened yesterday.
What do you think?? Angel, scam, or stalker?
Re: Is this a scam?? Tell me what you think...
If he didn't try to talk to her more, or stay and wait for her to respond, then I have to believe there is some validity.
It makes me think of a line from Hamlet, "There are more things under heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
The man didn't ask for anything so I would just take it for what it was.
When I was in college, I worked at a make-up counter. One of the other women there said that one day a man came in with his wife. He started telling them things that no one could possibly know about them (like that this woman had twins). His wife was annoyed because I guess he did that all the time but it was as if he really needed to say what he had to say to people. I like to think that some people just have a gift.
