is now becoming fussiness and feeding is taking a very long time. She is pooping a ridiculous amount of times too (FF Similac Advance Early Sheild) Normal or is she having a hard time with the formula? Any input?
I don't think that pooping while she is eating will really have anything to do with the formula.. they say it takes some time for it to go through her system. However, my DD was on similac and was having issues with pooping...she would either poop more than you could imagine at one time or not poop for days.. I switched to Good Start (Dr suggested) and she is regular now!
My LO does this also. ?Poops only when she eats. ?She has done this since birth when we were breastfeeding and supplementing with formula. ?Now she is on formula only and still does this. ?We were using Similac Advanced, but because she only poops once every day or every two days and seems to strain and grunt a lot, we changed to Similac Sensitive. ?However, she still does the same strain, grunt, no poop and then one big poop. I think that the pooping while eating is ok though!
This and he still does sometimes. And he's still fussy at the breast if there is gas in him, then the minute he poops/farts while eating, he's a calm eater.
same with DD. She didn't start going once or twice a day until a couple of weeks ago. And even so she still poops while she eats. I think it's because she gets all relaxed and just lets go.... (cracks DH and I up every time)
