xp - Where to stay in the San Diego/La Jolla area

Hi,

 

We will be coming to the La Jolla area for approx. 2 months in July and August.  We have a 6mo and a 22mo.  I was looking for recommendations on the best area to stay with children.  I am looking anywhere from San Diego to Mission Bay.  So far we have focused on the La Jolla area (near the beach and about a mile from the village area) but am curious if there are other areas you might recommend.

    hi, there are so many options.  lots of spots to take your kids in la jolla, or san diego in general.  as far as where to stay... too many variables for me to really be of help.  you could rent a house/condo instead of staying at a hotel, etc.  anyway my rec is to go on tripadvisor.com and read reviews.  that's what i always do when going somewhere i've never been before.  you will find lots of people w/kids.
