2nd Trimester

Ladies who have/had cysts....

When do you mostly feel pain from them? ?I went to the doc a few weeks ago because of a pain on my right side. ?They said everything seemed normal, and I possibly have a cyst, but there wasn't really anything to do about it. ?They told me to watch it for a few days and call for an ultrasound if I was still having pain.

Well I was off a few days after seeing the doc, and the pain stopped being so consistent. ?I've noticed though that I feel pain the most when I've been up and walking around a lot, especially at work.

Just wondering if pain brought on by walking goes along with a cyst...

Re: Ladies who have/had cysts....

  • My cysts got better with the pregnancy. Are you sure it isn't RLP? It would definately increase with walking.

  • Pre-pregnancy I had cysts and I didn't notice any correlation between walking and pain, but maybe it could be.

Is it possible that it's round ligament pain?  I'm not sure when that starts, but I know for me it started a couple of weeks ago (having two though so I'm stretching a little more than most).  The pain bothers me most after I've been walking or basically doing anything other than sitting, but goes away after I rest for a while.

  • Well it could be RLP, but it doesn't feel like the RLP I was having before. Before, I would get it when I would suddenly roll over in bed, or get off the couch a little too quick. ?And it would go away after a few minutes. ?This pain was a constant pain in the same exact place for 3 days before I went to the doctor. ?A dull pain that would randomly feel like someone was stabbing me. ?It wasn't so constant anymore after I laid around for 2 days. ?But when I'm at work constantly walking around, it really starts up again. ?And I've been off work for about 3 hours today, just sitting around, and it's still kind of throbbing from when it was hurting this morning...
