My grandma has a yellow houes and she has a chocoalte colored door. She is considering red as she has red brick around the house and some trim. Good luck!
I too live in a yellow house with white trim and our front door is painted a red-orange. It works with the lantana plants under our front window. Good luck choosing!
Re: What color door for a yellow house?
Something deep, like a deep red or dark navy.
Or, if the entry is in a shaded area, a light sagey green might be nice.
Depending on what color your roof is (if it's on the darker side) I might consider black. If not, then I'd go with dark blue or brown.
GL!
Red! We have a yellow house with a red door! Here is a teeny weeny picture. It's probably too small to see anything but here it is anyways.
My parents have a yellow house/white trim and a white front door...it looks nice and inviting.
And BTW I didn't notice your front door color at all...so it can't be that awful
I think dark green, like this

A medium blue with gray undertones to it like Kelly Moore's Jitterbug color. I really love their historical color collection.
This Old House paint line has some great colors as well. ICI paints carries it.
