As I was leaving the house, handing F back to the nanny after I fed her, she said "You are an amazing mom, I just wanted you to know that."

I teared up and did my best to get out of there as quick as possible. It was the sweetest thing and I am so not a touchy feely person at all, but it really touched me.

I feel so guilty about not being home with her, I really needed to hear that this morning.

You are an incredible mom!!! It is hard to leave our babies everyday and worry about their well-being....but F is such a neat and happy little girl...you're definitely doing something right!!!

I think it is something that a Mom never really gets to hear and sometimes we just need reassurance. You are a great Mom!
