Nursing bra for very large breasts?

Does anyone else have really big boobs and a great supportive nursing bra that you love?  I bought one that has underwire and it is not very comfortable, but gives me great support.  It is Anita brand.  I've heard a lot of good things about bravado brand bras, but does anyone have a style that you own and could recommend of bravado, or any kind??

  • G or H cups?  Medela underwires.

  • H cup.  I was trying to avoid an underwire....it seems to give me blocked milk ducts in my armpits.  Is it really comfortable?
  • which Anita do you have?  I find the 5041(an underwire) is a more comfortable one than the jacard patterned one which has less give.  The 5041 also gives great support.  I was also getting clogged ducts with the jacard one.

  • I have style 5035.  I ordered a bravado one that is more like a sports bra, since I want something like that to just wear at home and be very comfy.  I also ordered a medela underwire..we'll see how they work out.  I guess I'll just keep returning things and buying new ones till I find one that works perfectly!  It;s just so frustrating b/c my boobs are so huge, without a good supportive bra I feel so gross!

  • For H cup I have:

Anita 5035 Seamless Jacquard Microfiber underwire-good support, smooth under clothing, cup runs on the smaller side

(The Anita  5068 Regular Seamless Underwire runs really small- I was spilling out of the cups and returned it)

Medela Underwire is my everyday bra- good suport, but I could use some more lift, very comfy, cups run true to size and have some give, pretty seamless

Medela Softcup (non-underwire)- a bit hard to find, very comfy, okay support, seams show through fitted tops.

  • Yes I still like the Medela, very smooth under T-shirts for example.  Never had a clogged duct.  If you have the right fit, you shouldn't have any problems.
  • I have the Anita stretch lace one (don't know the # offhand) and love it.  The stretch jacquard one is not as comfortable or give as nice of a shape as the lace one.  I have only done underwire for Anita.

For Bravado I have the classic - got a fun tie-dye one in my size from Nestmom.com.  Also like the Bravado Bodysilk for at home because it has soft cups that you can remove for more like a sleep bra, or the cups inserted give more shape and support to large breasts.
