2 more days of work!

So I have two more days of work then I am officially on maternity leave for 13 weeks. I am having the hardest time getting motivated to do anything knowing I am leaving in two days. I spent so much time the last few months getting everything prepared, training someone, creating processes for projects, etc that I am really slow now.

Luckily I have this board, facebook and google to keep me company. I still have been researching double strollers, bouncers, etc so that is keeping me somewhat occupied but I am still kind of bored.

Anyone else check out of work knowing they only had a little time left?

I was just looking at the weekly check-in and thought, wow your right around the corner. Sounds like you prepared everything for when your gone. I worked until I had Ayden. Worked on Thursday, 4th of July on Friday and water broke Monday morning. Your little one will be here soon. Enjoy your time off before the birth.

Oh yeah, I definitely checked out. I knew I wasn't coming back and they had my replacement "take over" 2 weeks before I was due so I litterly sat upstairs and talked to the receptionist all day long. I also spent some time playing computer games, wrapping gifts for the company Christmas party, scrapbooking, and lounging around before I had finally had enough. It was nice getting paid to do nothing but it was so boring!

I'm already starting to feel unmotivated and my c/s isn't scheduled for another 4 months! It's just so hard to stay engaged when you know there's a definite end date on the radar.

We only have 4 more days of school and I am really hoping that I don't make it for the last two days. My grades are done, my classroom is packed up...just waiting Big Smile
