Registering for diapers?

Did you guys put diapers on your registry? Im trying to decide if I should.

And I just dont know which brand is better either ...

why not! Even if no one gets them for you, you can use your completion coupon to stock up!

i registered for the ones that i want just so that i can get the 10% off after the baby is here.

It depends. If you're having a diaper raffle or something like that, then I would register for the type you want (just 1 package though) so that people know what kind to buy you.

But otherwise I wouldn't.

we put one box just so people would know our preference if they were intersted.

we're going with pampers sensitive swadlers. i've heard nothing but good reviews.

I didn't. I didn't register for anything disposable (diapers, wipes, shampoo, etc.). I figured that for those that like to put together gift baskets with that kind of stuff, they'll do it anyway with whatever brand they go for and we'll either use it or we won't. Otherwise, I'll buy it myself.

I registered for both Luvs and Pampers

1 big pack of newborn

1 big box and 1 smaller pack of Size 1

1 big box of size 2

I'm not going to open the newborn diapers until she's here incase they'll be too big.

We did. I think there are two sizes on there. As far as which brand is better, from what I've heard its a personal preference. I don't know from experience. We have some seventh generation and pampers on there.

I did. I just registered for a couple of newborn Pampers swaddlers (going by bumpies' recommendations) and a couple of size 1.

I didn't, but I had a diaper shower. I got tons of different sizes and different brands. We are not sure what we are going to use, in my opinion it's best to wait until the baby is here and see what will work best for the baby. Sometimes different brands may irritate their skin. I didn't want a diaper shower, however how do you say no to someone. So I just went with it, DH and I returned most of them, kept a few size 1 and a newborn in the huggies since most of my friends told me that is what has worked best for them.

i registered for them...

more than likely someone will buy you diapers whether or not its on the registry so i fig its better to have my preference on there so they can see...

i registered for pampers swaddlers and huggies- got a mixture so far as well- i will see which one we like when she gets here!

We did...I went with Pampers...just picked one...no real reason why. We ended up getting 2 packages of diapers at our shower...1 in Newborn size and 1 in size 1 (8-14 lbs) ...we also got a couple of gift cards and used some of it to purchase additional diapers (another size 1 package) and a HUGE thing of Pampers sensitive wipes. I'm glad we didn't get alot of Newborn size, since it's only up to 8 or 10 lbs. I think ...and the baby will probably be between that when he's born.

no. one of the things we can purchase on our own. plus, we registered on amazon and bru, and diapers at bru are a rip off in my opinion. much cheaper at target or sam's club, etc.

I prefer pampers. I would register for a box just so people know your preference, but you don't want to go overboard. My friend got a ton of nb and size 1 diapers and her baby is in the 97% for weight so she grew out of them in no time.

I registered for Pampers and Huggies because i like them and multiple sizes other than newborn.... (big babies)

I did not...I figured people were smart enough to just buy them and know we'll use them. I did register for wipes b/c I like the unscented natural kinds. And I registered for Dreft laundry detergent...

i don't know because they are all diffrent, they depend on your LO. I loved swaddlers, but a friend of mine used huggies so make sure you get gift reciepts.

I did not and I got 3 nb packs and 2 size 1 packs. I also didn't register because I knew I wanted to use cloth diapers.

As for good brands...I like pampers and luvs. Huggies leaked almost every time.

i did and just bought some for a girlfriend off her registry- she had her baby early before the shower but i know she can always use them!!

I put them on there so people knew what kind I preferred. I am going to use pampers, based on a friends recommendation.

I prefer Pampers Dry to Luvs or Huggies. I am not having a shower but registered for some, so when I get the completion coupon I can get them cheaper. I did some price comparisons and didn't find that walmart or target were cheaper, sams doesn't carry what I like. Plus my sister is a Proctor and Gamble employee, so I figured I'd support her stock & get what I like.

I just registered for one box of newborn, size 1 and size 2 of the pamper sensitives. i guess i wont open the newborn, in case i have a big baby!

are they returnable for credit if they arent opened?
