Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

~NicoleOSU~

I saw your post below about delivering at Baylor Frisco.  I am delivering there in a couple of weeks and I am wanting to have a natural childbirth, as well.  In our childbirth class, the nurse said the are not a big fan of birth plans, so I hadn't written one up yet.  But, you didn't have any problem with that?  Did it work out exactly as you wanted it to?

If you don't mind me asking, who was your dr?

I'm just getting really nervous about the whole experience and hate the fear of the unknown!

Thanks!

  • Yeah, I had that same nurse comment too and it made me really nervous, but I think the main thing is to make sure you provide your birth plan to your doctor. I never sent ours to the hospital, but they all had copies and knew it when we got there so my Dr. must have provided them a copy. It didn't work EXACTLY the way I had planned it, but it never will. Things come up that you don't plan for, but they never pressured me to do anything. My Dr. is Dr. Fawzia Jaffee. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
