I hope my baby is more cooperative after he comes than he is being now. Last week he moved a ton but the dr still decided to send me for a biophysical profile ultrasound. This week he was bopping all around before I left home and wouldn't budge when we got there even after 20 oz of OJ and a capri sun so I'm off to the hospital again for another ultrasound.
The good news is everything has come back normal and my blood pressure was really good today. He is measuring 2 weeks ahead and I lost 4 lbs (don't know how that happens in a week) but fingers crossed I can hold out a few more weeks.
Update: Everything looked good at the hospital so I guess I won't have to go back to the dr until next Tuesday probably. DH said coming out of the hospital "Is it bad that I'm a little sad they didn't induce you?" uh, yes, that's bad. DH said he could hang in another week since he wants to go away this weekend to Baltimore for a music festival. He better not be jinxing me. I'd like more than another week.
Re: Good Lord
Yay for good news! I'm sure they told you that 32 is the magic number, and every two weeks after that is a tremendous step forward in having a healthy baby.
Good luck. I was in and out of the hospital from 25 weeks on, and was on bedrest, some in the hospital, for the last two months. I know what it's like - each appointment is nerve wracking. But it is nice to get out of the house, right? I loved the excuse to wear real clothes, do my makeup and do my hair, all in the same day! On a regular day at home, usually only one or two of those three got accomplished!
well, they didn't say I could do Rita's but I figured if I am allowed to go drive to the gym then that would be just about the same.
the doctor didn't really say anything when he put me on bedrest and I didn't really get any answers when I called because the nurse just got on the phone. of course I saw the NP today and the baby wasn't cooperating so she basically said everything was pending based on my BPP results so I've gotta try to call and get them to actually ask the dr or wait another week. grrr. I'm sure it depends what you go on bedrest for too.
