Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I am going to effing kill DH

Ben has been fighting sleep for 4 hours now - he napped for crap today and was exhausted.  I FINALLY got him to sleep half an hour ago and my idiot husband busts into the bedroom and starts making all kinds of ruckus - wakes the baby up, then has the audacity to say, "Cant you just nurse him back to sleep real quick?"

He is dead meat.

  • This is Colbi lately. Every. single. time. Bri has fallen asleep today she has run up to her to give her a kiss. I frantically try to stop her every time but it never works.
  • Great idea, DH.  That's why we have these breasts full of milk, so we can put screaming babies back to sleep after our DH (DUMB husbands) wake them.

If only he produced milk he totally would be.  Ben thinks he needs to eat to fall asleep 99% of the time.

We actually made this rhyme: "You wake her, you take her."  As for needing to eat before going back to sleep, I would suggest keeping bottles in the fridge for times like these.
