  I took folic acid for nearly a year before TTC. The longer you take it, the better. Also, makes your hair and nails grow faster and healthier.

  i took them on and off for about 6 months before hand but i couldn't remember to take them consistently.  sometimes its still hard to remember to take the darn thing!
