Got the Green Light for next phase!

This morning I had another blood draw and ultrasound .... I just got the call with my E2 results and found out that my level is within normal range!  So this means that I will start my Stimulation Hormones (Follistim and Menopur) tomorrow morning!  Woo Hoo!  So this next phase of the IVF cycle consists of 2 shots a day, 1 in the morning and 1 at night, in addition to the daily shot of Lupron that I have already been taking for 2 weeks.  These Stim shots will go on for atleast 10 days, possibly 12, depending on my response.  The purpose of these Stim shots is to get as many of my follicles to grow as possible, so that they can retrieve the optimum # of eggs.  I am not looking forward to giving myself 3 shots a day... but am going to suck it up and just go for it!  The end result will justify the means.

Wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts and prayers.  DH still isn't home, so I am fighting this battle on my own for another 4 days.

    Yay for the next phase!!! But, 3 shots...yucky! It'll definitely be worth it!

    PS- I really love how you keep us updated! I'm getting an IVF tutorial as you go. Very informative!
