I will be able to pump in my cubicle. Another woman that used to work here just had a "curtain" attached to her cube walls & closed it whenever she was pumping. I was so happy to find this out!

Originally, I was just going to do what everyone here does which is go to the handicap restroom when not in use and pump in there. The women have put a chair in that room so that moms can pump.
But my job recently opened up a "mommy's room." It's a small room with magazines and one chair where you can pump. That's the room I'll use.
There is a room especially designated for bfing in this office somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's downstairs. Guess I should find out exactly where it is huh?
My office has a room specifically set aside for this. I think it would be loud/annoying to my coworkers to do in my office, but it's a pretty quiet office...
In my office, with a curtain over the window next to the door. ?There are a ton of other moms in my office, so everyone knows what a closed door and blue curtain mean.... ?:-)
Sooo butting in but I just wanted to tell you I have been pumping in the storage room at work for six months now and although it is a pain, it is do-able! Good luck to all of you
Hmmm....good question....probably either in our conference room (when not in use) or the bathroom...or if all else fails my cubicle....my MIL sits right next to me, so I wouldn't feel weird doing it in front of her...but people can walk by and see ...which would be weird to me.
in my state its the law to provide a non-bathroom, non-storage closet, private space to pump to employees thats nearby. I'm guessing I'll use one of the meeting rooms here (they can lock and have keys) but I'll talk to my boss about that while I'm on leave (I'm taking 12 weeks).
I spoke with HR when I first found out I was pregnant. There is a mother's room in my building (no windows, door that locks, comfy chair, etc.) so I will be using that.
I am currently talking to my manager and HR about this issue. I have a cubicle at work but don't feel comforatable pumping there because I don't have a door and pumps make noise. I refuse to go into our bathrooms because it is gross. So I am thinking of using our supply room which locks and just post a note not to enter. I will only have to figure out where to go for one or two days a week because it turns out I will be able to work from home part time! I am so grateful!!
