How much does your LO cost?

So I found this post on 6-12 and it made me think about how much more things seem to cost in this area.  Does anyone agree?

    DD's basics aren't too costly.  I think it's mostly the cost of daycare/preschool that's overwhelming in this area - added to general housing, commuter, and other high living expenses - even groceries cost more.  I think we also tend to think of too many extras or high-end items as 'necessities' - it all adds up.
