Hmm, it does sound gross not to wipe an adult, however I was told not to wipe DD1 when she pees and I don't. It's hard enough to get her diaper off and on.
I guess its not all that different but baby pee is WAY different than old people pee. For one its way more concentrated and mineralized. Ns pee has never had an odor to it like old people/adult pee.

True. Could be because most people are dehydrated and have more toxins in their bodies.
Adults wipe with a dry piece of paper so that we don't drip pee on our clothes or down our legs. It's not like you're using a wet wipe and cleaning out all your little folds.
So that doesn't compare to using a wet wipe on a baby who is going to be back in a new diaper in 10 seconds.
I don't wipe my baby after pees. Urine is sterile.

The nurses' aides wipe with wet wipes when they change diapers, not dry TP. And then the adults go back in a new diaper. Just like a baby.

Yeah I just realized I read the OP wrong. I was thinking of people who say they wipe themselves after every pee, so why wouldn't you wipe your baby.

OH! I love "bless your heart" - it's a cute way of being super condescending. Coupled with a head pat = pure awesome high horseity!! LOL

Same here. That's gross if you don't even though it's sterile IMO. ?
