Other than sand...Watertable

We finally got our stamped concrete in our backyard! We set up the water/sand table and JLK loved the water part.

I left the other side empty because she eats everything still and honestly I think the sand will just be a huge mess.

So I am looking for other ideas that wont get too nasty when they get wet..wont choke her if she eats em...

Re: Other than sand...Watertable

  • Josie had told me to use some barley or like oats in it?

bonus story, we have a sandbox and a water table, the kids figured out how to take cups of water over to the sand box. Great times....

  • I have seen moms fill it with corn or pinto beans, uncooked of course ;) but if your kid like to put things in their mouth maybe not but the older kids love it!
  • I think any food product would get soggy over time if you're going to put water in the water part.   The sand part isn't that bad IMO.  Ryan only tried to eat it a few times....and quickly tired of that game. :)
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
