AW: My mother is fabulous!

My mom came in Thursday night and stayed all weekend with me. What did we do??? Girl talk? No. Movies? No.

SHE CLEANED MY ENTIRE APARTMENT!!! I'm talking heavy, spring cleaning! Nesting - cleaning! Since I've been ordered by a doctor to lay on the couch (when not at my modified desk job), she decided to come in and help me nest! I bought the Dyson Animal on Friday, and let me say... it got some serious use this weekend. Mom moved all of the furniture out from the walls and vaccuumed EVERYTHING. The bathrooms were scoured and the kitchen is now spotless. I got to sit on the couch and dust anything and everything that wasn't nailed down. She is so wonderful!!! I definitely feel waaaaaaaaay more at ease now that the apt is super clean and ready for baby Web to come home! Web has one fabulous grandma!

LOL your mom is great! My mom does the same thing when she comes down. I try to get her to stop but she refuses. She wants to come down a few days before my due date to do another cleanfest.

MH and I did that this weekend too. Although he did much more than I did...it feels great! Glad your place is clean and ready for baby!

Thats awesome.. my mom has offered to do the same but my house is too messy for me to not be too embarassed.. I'd have to clean jut to let her come do her super duty heavy cleaning.. Embarrassed

Thats the Best gift ever! My mom did that for me once when I was ill. Loved It! Seems others can clean your house better then you sometimes. Enjoy the clean pad.
