DS gets up on all fours preparing to crawl and over the past few days I notice he straightens his legs and ends up in a downward facing dog position. Well last night DH was put him in his crib so he could grab a burp cloth. He turned back around and saw that he was on all 4s, reached up and grabbed the rail with one hand, straightened his legs and essentially pulled himself up! (Then he slipped and hit his head but is ok) So my 6 month old is pulling himself up in his crib! I am not ready for this. No teeth yet but he can stand!
DH lowered the crib last night, we're not taking any chances.
Re: Lowered crib at 6 months!?
Hi!
We lowered the crib early because the highest setting was REALLY high. DS can get on all fours and he rocks. He has yet to figure out that you can grab onto the rail. DS is 9 months old now and has no teeth! I'm very impatiently waiting for them to come in.
We lowered the crib at 7 months. Good thing, because two days later we walked in and he was standing there.
Also, since we are talking teeth. Robbie has 6 (4 on top, w on the bottom).
