DH spent all day yesterday outside working on his stupid LandCruiser sticking me inside with a cranky teething toddler. Today he tries to get outside every chance he can to work on it again.
Newsflash Your A$$wholiness: Your son wants to be around you and he wants to be outside. He can't help you work on your truck.
Also, I pick up around the house as much after DH as I do BabyHill. I went so far as to pick up the balloon that DH busted and handed to DH to throw away. Does he, no! He sits on the couch watching TV playing with it.
Newsflash #2: Your son will want to play with that busted balloon and put it in his mouth. That's a choking hazard in case you didn't know!
I ended up snatching it from his hands and abruptly letting him know, "I'm sick and tired of your laziness!"
Then he has the nerve to ask me to cut his hair. Uh, I think not. I'm too tired tonight. jacka$$.
Done.
Re: Can I vent?
I hopped on here right now to take a break and prevent myself from strangling DH. ?We are trying to clean up around the house and he went outside to do things while I'm in here doing the actual work. ?I found where he dumped something he shouldn't have down the sink which created a huge mess. ?I called his a$$ in to clean it up and he did--sort of--but I still needed to do more. ?
If I bring it up, he'll accuse me of being a neat freak and write it off. ?But believe you me I am not a neat freak--those of you who know me IRL know that my house is NOT at all like most other people's. ?There are piles of crap everywhere!!!!! and I'm so tired of living like this. ?It just urks me that he thinks my expectations of what a clean house should look like are way off base or something and they aren't. Sooooooo tired of cleaning up after DH!!!
Whew! ?Sorry to hijack the post--clearly I need to vent too. ?:) ?Sorry you are having to deal with this. ?Perhaps we should set up a DH boot camp of sorts to whip them into shape. ?I love my DH but come on!!?
I'd be all about this!
