Pain on the opposite side of the baby?

For the past couple of days I have been having an on and off, dull pain on the right side of my pelvis.  I know the baby is on the left side, and developing normally, (I have already had ultrasounds) but the right side pain is really beginning to freak me out.  Any suggestions?!

  • I would think it is everything making way for baby and since it is dull, I wouldn't worry about it.

Pregnancy is painful.  It's probably from some things stretching and growing and other things being pushed aside and smooshed by the things that are stretching and growing.

  • Have you had any cysts?  I have a large one on my ovary (the one that ovulated) and this is what it feel like.

  • I experienced the same thing about this time. I had my 2nd appt at 10w5d so I spoke with my doctor and she explained that it could have been my corpus luteum cyst going away and causing the pain. From what i've heard/read this is very common. Try not to stress about it, my pain only lasted a couple of days!
