Gross poop and carrots ?

Ok so for those of you who have feed carrots as finger foods, cooked and cut up into small pieces....have you ever had them come out whole and undigested?  Is this normal?  A sign of an underlying problem?  I was not expecting this with carrots!

    Yes, normal for carrots, similar to corn.

    yep, DS always has whole pieces of carrots & corn come out. I think it comes a lot from (with the carrots anyway) them not really chewing with molars or anything so they don't break down like they would with us.

    Ok, thanks, that makes me feel better.  Does that mean she is getting the nutritional value from them tho?  She has recently given up all purees, or rather letting us feed her anything so I am now trying to quickly figure out finger food meals...just when you think you have these little buggers figured out....
