Weaning: Day #5

I only keep typing these entries for those few of you who are following my story.Right Hug

So, tonight was similar to others... dinner, bath, book and bed. There used to be a "boob" in there somewhere, but no longer. So, during the bath, DD said, "Milkies." And I said to her, "You want milkies in a cup?" She stared at me and said again, "Milkies cup?" So I promised her milk in a cup after her bath, and then I totally FORGOT! I'm sooo bad! I felt horrible! She probably went to bed thirsty (that is, aside from the clean bathwater she drank LOL!). Oh well. Good intentions, I guess! Anyhow, she went to sleep without a hitch. DH said to me again tonight, "You should just give it to her like for a treat or something." I calmly explained to him why that would not work. He gave up but was not satisfied. Men.Indifferent

Thanks for all of your words of encouragement and advice, ladies! I couldn't get through this without you!!

Re: Weaning: Day #5

  • I have read your posts here and on the toddler board.  I am glad that things are settling down and that it's going well.  It's always so hard to realize that the snuggly little baby we had once is growing up.  Good for you for sticking to it.  Now lets hope that you get yourself PG double time!!

    LOL at your DH!
