I read that the testicles don't always descend before birth....it said that they "NORMALLY descend within a year after" That would be an awesome story to tell his girlfriend...."Bobby had no nuts till he was 10 months old!"
My son's testicles were not huge. Just curious as to why you think your son's would be? I'm not sure if big testicles at birth is normal.....but I don't really know.
I just learned that they tend to be swollen at one of our classes last week- they had pictures even, so you really get an idea of what you can see! Those were nothing compared to the pictures of the LO's who had forcep marks on their head. Also, I didn't know that girls can have white or bloody discharge....crazy what the hormones do to babies.
I think I would warn him! Unless you want him freaking out!
Babies genitals are sometimes swollen at birth because of the hormones they are exposed to and it usually goes away shortly after. Both males and females can have leaking from their nipples too, completely normal and goes away.
