to ride in a stroller? I was reading somewhere that newborns really shouldn't be in a stroller because it's just another thing that might give them a flat head. ? Um, they said a baby always seems to be laying on the back of its head, whether you are cradling him, if he is in the crib or bassinet, in the carseat, so one shouldn't use a stroller until the baby's bones are stronger. Has anyone else heard this? Is there another reason LO should be in a strolller till its older?

Putting your baby in a stroller is fine.
Tummy time helps prevent the flat head thing.
Ditto.
Just a note on the flat head thing...
My nephew has been in a helmet to correct his head for the past few months. The main reason he's had that problem has been because my sister carried him so low, and his head rested on her pelvic bone.
In other words, most of the time, the flat head is not something that could be avoided - her doctor said it's usually something like this, or if parents never introduce tummy time or hold their babies.
So...don't stress about the flat head!!
This... I do plan to use the stroller for many things, but it just seems easier to wear baby in his sling when possible. The travel system is just so large and cumbersome - when he's a teensy newborn, it seems easier to just wear him. We'll see what I actually end up doing when the time comes...
This, too. Tummy time helps w/ flat head.
