Tips - try not to be concerned until 12 months pass (unless you are over 35), as it is totally normal for the average couple to take 6 months to a year to concieve. After a few months of having fun try charting or OPKs to make sure your timing is right and you are ovulating (usually if you have a regular period you do ovulate).
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

oh you asked for tips too....hmmm... we do it reverse missionary/doggy style too. We have sex everyday (anyways) and I lifted my legs up on a pillow for at least 30 minutes after. I have no EWCM so I found that the leg gravity thing really worked for us. GL. and don't forget to have fun!!!

I tend to get pregnant very easily but it's harder for me to hang onto a pregnancy. I've lost 5, have 2 beautiful DD's, and am pregnant again with a surprise.
I too get pregnant easily (hoping to hang onto this one) First time with DS and first PP AF for this one... I would say though not to get discouraged too quickly, sometimes it takes awhile
Two months. The week we conceived, the only day we did it was the day I was ovulating. I can feel when I'm ovulating, but if you can't, I'd try charting. It took my SIL almost two years to get a BFP the first time around; for the second baby, she charted and got pregnant the 3rd month.
We had sex 3 times in one day, and then once the next day for good measure. Oh, and I also did the OWT elevate your legs after sex thing. Not sure which day did the trick, but this was our first cycle and we got a BFP. Happy baby making and good luck.
2 cycles. My best tip is to relax. DH was really trying, but I didn't want to look at sex as a chore, so we just had sex whenever. Def didn't think we'd get pregnant so fast though.
It took us 3 cycles. I was charting. The month we got PG, we had sex every day around ovulation. My ovulation is pretty predictable, so we knew when to start having sex. It doesn't work as well if you have long or wacky cycles. Good luck! It only took us 3 months, but it was still frustrating for me!
1st month trying. We used Preseed, had sex everyother day from CD 10 through CD 18, and I propped with a pillow under my hips for about 20 minutes each time.
I quit BC more than a year ago and we were never trying or preventing, but I wasn't paying attention to ovulating or not during the year. We got a surprise BFP on 4.21 so I have no clue how long it would've taken had I been charting or trying. I could say it took us a year or I could say we were just blessed with good fertility and timing and this little bug was just meant to be - that's how I'm looking at it.
Two cycles TTC (with four total charting). We also used a CBEFM...both helped me know that I O'd nine days late this cycle. We FWP for about two weeks straight and used doggy style and Instead SoftCups to assist with my titled cervix....hips propped up for 30 minutes afterwards...voila! It worked!
See siggy. 9 months, with a mc in between. Not bad considering what a LOT of women go through, but it still sucks. I'm very happy to be where I am now We did the deed for a post-coital and ended up getting knocked up for that VERY timed session.
I ditto OPK. Takes the guesswork outta when to do the deed. Youll get the most "bang" for your buck that way. heh heh heh...

Doggy style!
After 10 cycles that seemed to be the trick!
6.5 years. 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs.

3 months.
Got our BFP the first month charted...so my tip-CHART.
5 cycles. Running a marathon, a quickie on the couch and getting hammered drunk in a hot tub finally did the trick for us
lol
Good luck!
Almost 4 years, hundreds of shots, lots of drugs, 5 inseminations, 4 IVFs, and 1 IVF with donor eggs.
ETA: sorry I forgot tips - ditto Krissy. It can take 6 months to a year to get pregnant. Chart, use OPKs, and try to enjoy it!

Oh, the only tip I have is using an OPK (we used the CBEFM)
8 cycles.?
We charted the whole time and used OPK's the last 5 cycles. Read TCOYF if you haven't already.?

1st month off of birth control. I charted and we were having sex every other day until ovulation, when we had sex every day.
I got my BFP at 11DPO.
