I havent asked the doc yet but when can you start letting baby sleep through the night with out having to wake them up? My son is 4 weeks old today and would prob sleep through the night if i didnt wake him for feedings..
I was told to let DD sleep as long as she wanted once she was back up to her birth weight. She was doing a 6 hours stretch since 2 weeks and has been averaging 8-10 hours in the past couple weeks.

I think you are very lucky to be able to use the word 'let' as opposed to 'when'.
We continued to wake him until his one month appointment, when pedi said we could let him go as long as he would sleep. ?He immediately started stretching things out, and it was heaven. ?He STTN at 6 weeks - hope you have the same luck!
Our pedi told us yesterday at his 2 week appointment that we didn't need to wake him to feed him anymore because he is gaining well. He said not to go longer than 6 hrs. at night. Last night DS went for almost 5 hrs. before waking up to eat.
Re: when can u let baby sleep through the night?
At his two week appointment, I was told I was allowed one 5 hour stretch.
But around 4 or 5 weeks we let him STTN. Once they are up to their birth weight they are okay to STTN unless instructed otherwise.
