and i'm shocked to hear that I've gone from a 32C/ 34B to a 34D/DD. And given that my due date is two weeks away, i may even go up another full cup size.
DH's response was, "oh, the humanity..." and he hasn't stopped staring at them and touching them since I've gotten home. Not very supportive, is he?
Re: Officially measured for nursing bras...
Oh no... mine is MUCH worse. I have gone from a 32 D (I have a VERY thin under-boob area) to a 34 F!!!! Luckily I have always had to order my bras and currently LOVE motherhood maternity bras with the wire (go check them out they are cheap!) so that wasnt a change. My DH LOL'ed in the store when I was measured... He asked if I would mind working at hooters for a little extra money!! HAHAHA!!
You don't need to spend a ton on nursing bras, they won't last no matter what so you might as well go with the cheaper ones from MM. I've had ones from MM last longer than the ones from VS. DH says it's because they're so huge that the underwire can't handle em lol.
I'm sure you've been warned, but just in case you haven't, you should expect AT LEAST 1 but probably more like a 2+ size increase when your milk comes in. I honestly wouldn't buy more than one nursing bra right now. I'd wait until after you have the baby and get remeasured.
