Miss shopping for "regular" clothes :)

Is it me, or are all the summer clothes and wedges and high heeled sandals that are out super cute this year? There is so much stuff I've seen that I want to buy so bad but can't. I'm due Aug 9 so there would be no point. There is one dress in the Victoria's Secret catalog I may splurge on. I will justify it by saying I will prob be able to wear it to SIL's bridal shower in September

Agreed! I look at things and think "OOOOH! That's super cute!" and then reality hits and I think, "dang, I'm soooo not that skinny right now!" Sad

I just bought my first post-pregnancy clothing purchase online last night! Silly, I know, since I'm not positive it'll fit after baby... but I only have a few weeks to go...

Now, what to do with my maternity clothes...

I bought an outfit at the Nordstrom half-yearly sale a couple days ago that wasn't maternity, and to my shock, I could actually get into it (thank heaven for skirts with stretchy waistbands). Woo, now I have an outfit I can wear for a couple more weeks and then post-birth.

I do worry about what to wear in that transition time when my maternity clothes are too big and my regular clothes are still too small.

I don't even want to look at clothes in the regular section at this point. Even though I will be unpregnant soon, I don't know what size I will be. Even though I can still wear pre-pg pants and shirts...just can't button.

my mom says that buying one or two really cute post-preg outfits is really great incentive to encourage a person to lose their extra baby fat. I think that is a great idea!
