Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I hate you girls that....

had short labors and quick deliveries.  I was in labor for over 30 hours, did not sleep for 2 nights, and pushed for what seemed forever (1 hour 41 minutes).  I really don't hate you girls but I always look back at those days and they were hell, but I love my LO so I would hack another 30+ hours and almost 2 hours of pushing just to experience that moment when he was put on my stomach...

  • I had 4 days of labor with #1, under 12 with #2  =)  I guess that makes up for #1 LOL

  • It could be worse. I labored for 4 days with contractions 2 mins apart or less. Had a balloon in my cervix to help dilate and STILL ended up with a c/s. At least you got to push and have your LO naturally.

  • I had 14 hrs of labor including 2 hours of pushing. He was facing my left side, so they had to turn him. Then he turned face up, so they had to get him all the way facing down. The dr was cranking on Jack's head to get him turned. It hurt! Then I needed forceps, which are literally the size of salad tongs--maybe a little bigger.

Oh, I feel ya.  I was in labor 39 hours, including 2 hours of pushing.  I went into labor on Saturday around noon and didn't sleep until Monday afternoon.  Hell.  My BFF had her LO in 4 hours.  B!tch.

31 hrs of labor, 5 epis that didn't work for rectal pain and 3 1/2 hrs of pushing, nothing short here!

    96 hours...then a c-section.

I was induced and was in labor for 16 hours and pushed for nearly 3 hours, narrowly avoiding a c-section.  The labor I can handle, but the 3 hours of pushing was exhausting.

With Julia the released me less than 48 hours after...no lie...it was too soon but I wanted to be with Caroline. BIG MISTAKE. They should not have done that.

Went in Sat afternoon, had Juls, released Monday morning...drive thru c-section.
