Yahoo! First appt AND u/s!

I had my first appt today and everything went AMAZINGLY well! Our doctor is really nice and her assistant is fantastic. She answered all our questions, talked us through a lot of things. THEN I got to see my little jelly bean jumping around in my belly! Big Smile Baby is measuring 8w4 days, so I have to "re-do" the end of week 8 and beginning of week 9, but that is okay! I am so happy to just have a healthy little baby growing inside me. We got to SEE the heartbeat flicker but didn't get to hear it. Bummer. It was such an amazing feeling though -- to see the flicker of life inside me.
