We went to this park yesterday and I have to tell you guys about it. Totland in Berkeley is AMAZING! It is fenced in all the way around, and the whole structure is made for little kids, under 5 years old or so. It has swings, slide and lots of fun things for the kids to do. Plus people just leave toys there: trikes, big trucks, lepfrog table, sand toys, all kinds of things and your kid can play with what they want as long as they share of course! The kids I went with had a ton of fun, it was like getting a whole new set of park toys for most of them. There is LOTS of shade, and some picnic tables for snacks or lunch. I know it might be far for some of you but if you are needing a great park for a toddler I highly suggest it.
April I thought of you and Ty while I was there. It would really be perfect for Ty.
Re: Great Toddler Park
Thanks, Ariel!!
You had me at "fenced all the way around."
Where in Berkeley? We'll definitely have to check it out!!
I've been there! lots of shade!?
Some of the toys seemed pretty ratty to me but I haven't been in a couple years so it might be stocked with newer ones. If I recall, the directions to it were hard to follow and I got lost for a while trying to find it. I'd love to know of an easier way to get there! ?
