My Last Day...

Today is my last day of work (for 8 weeks)! I have my c section scheduled for 11:30 tomorrow morning. ?It's sort of bittersweet for me, today is my last day of being the mom of just Isabelle, tomorrow I will have a toddler & newborn that will rely on me & it's a little scary but also exciting. ?Today is my last day of having just a daughter, tomorrow I will also be the mother of a son (what do I do with a boy!). So many emotions are going through my head right now, it's crazy. ?Isabelle is so excited about having a brother & can't wait for Oliver to come out of my belly but it was also a bit scary b/c she woke up last night screaming that they took her mommy away, she's only 2.5, where did she come up with this? ?Here's to my last day of the known & the beginning of the unknown, wish me luck!

Good luck! I felt the same way before DS was born since I come from a family of girls, but boys are so great. It's really true when they say that boys really love their mothers.

Congrats! Best of luck! I have no advice on the boy front but I am starting to feel the "wow, this is happening" feelings myself. Just think in less than 24 hrs you will have a little one to cuddle and love.

Congrats, it is so exciting but I can totally relate to everything you are feeling. I have less than two weeks before my c-section and have been feeling emotional about these last days with DD before we bring another child into this world. Enjoy today with her and good luck with everything.

Wow, it seems like your pregnancy has really flown by (at least for me. LOL!). I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. I know that I have no real first hand experience with a newborn and a toddler, but I am getting a little bit of practice taking care of an infant a few days a week plus Griffin. It is hard a first, but it gets easier each day. It takes a lot of patience but you will be great at it! Relax and enjoy your last day with just one kid. What a blessing you are entering into! We can't wait to see pics of your little man.
