Creative ideas for brownies? (instead of boring pan)

I want to make my cousin brownies for his birthday this weekend but I want to do something different than just baking in a square pan and cutting into squares.

Any ideas?  I was thinking of using a mini-cupcake pan and making disks but don't know how that will work.

    I have had some that are squares, but have a layer of candy or chocolatein the middle...ho old?  I think you can do them in ice cream cones?

    I used the mini cupcake pan before and they come out just fine as long as you make sure you don't over bake them.  They're like little brownie bites.

    You can't make the extra-special ones right now LMAO

    If you have a round cookie-cutter (or even use the top of a small glass/cup) you could cut rounds and layer them like a parfait - but with icecream/raspberry goo/chocolate sauce or fudge.... just stuff 'em in glasses or use the brownie as the base in a dish.

    Michaels has really cute teeny little foil pans-- I did heart brownies for V-day, but they have all kinds of shapes.

    Never thought of just using cookie cutters. I'm planning to just leave as brownies though, since that's what he loves. Just looking for a different means of presentation, not like a 17yo boy will really notice!

    If you find a cookie cutter you like, just freeze the pan of brownies for a little while and then cut them out.  Thin out some icing and drizzle over top and wah lah!

    LOL - I totally agree. But again, he's 17yo. Not quite sure he'll care, but Mia would probably enjoy helping me with that! OK, I might after all.  Wink
