BFing and teeth

DS has a super sharp razor, ok tooth, on the bottom and it is less than pleasant to my boob while he is nursing.  He has a really narrow latch- is that the problem?  Or does it always hurt like a b!tch once they have teeth?

    DD has a mouth full of teeth and I have never felt them.
    I have been told if they are latched correctly their tongue should cover their bottom teeth while they are nursing.
    Who knows?  I have never had any BFing issues so I may not know what I am talking about.

    We had a few issues with him nipping me with his teeth, but once I just repositioned his latch a few times it was over. His tongue covers his teeth. His top teeth have never been a problem either.

    I guess the latch is the problem.  He eats plenty and it was never painful, so I just let it be, but I suppose I need to start correcting it.
