If I had a fairly dark OPK (not quite positive) Monday night and Tuesday afternoon (skipped tues night).... Then had a really dark OPK this afternoon (not quite positive again, but close) and then an OPK tonight that had almost no line... is it more likely that I missed my surge or that my body was just gearing up to O, since I didn't get a true positive? I was really hoping to get a dark OPK tonight since it gradually was getting darker! But it is practically gone now. I was borderline marking the OPK positive this afternoon though. Thoughts?

Maybe you just missed your "peak" time. I don't know if you'll be able to tell if you missed your O until you can see if your temp shifts. I wouldn't mark anything positive and maybe just put a note at the bottom about the "almost" positives. GL!

This was my issue with non-digital OPKs. Want to know something funny though? The day I finally got a +OPK with the digital, I also checked the same cup of urine with the cheaper non-digitals and what do you know...it still looked kind of negative to me so honestly, I don't trust those OPK strips because I can't read them. DH and I have both tried and it's not as easy as one would think.

You'll know by tomorrow's temp if you missed your O (doesn't look like it though). Keep trying...Good luck!
