I think so.I'm at 8w and mine are so tight on me I switched to maternity pants for the time being. I'm sure it's bloat, but whatever. The pants are so comfortable.

i''m at 7w and my pants aren't closing. not sure if it's bc i gained weight the last couple of month or its because of Peanuts - most likely a combination of both. i'm using the rubber band trick so i can keep wearing my pants.
No my pants from pre-pregnancy are way to small. I bought a couple pair in a size up that close, but barely! I have only gained about 3 or 4 pounds (which I have gained before and my pants still fit then) but my waist is just non existent lately.
They do in the morning, but by mid-day, I have to unbutton them. Bella bands are a great invention, but they make me feel sick when I have morning sickness. I want nothing tight on my stomach when I feel sick. I am tempted to get maternity pants soon, but I feel weird only being 8 weeks!
Mine are CLOSE to not being able to close it takes a good amount of wiggling lol. I asked this question a few days ago. and and some of the "super nice" 2nd and 3rd trimester woman made a huge deal about me thinking I was gaining already!! They even opened a post about it on their wall just to mock me.Im happy everyone has been nice to you!!
Some do, some don't. I have some work pants that were too big for me before I was pg, but now they fit great. I did go to put some shorts on after work today and couldn't get them done up, thankfully I had bought some maternity shorts last weekend. They were REALLY comfy!

Most of my pants still fit but not very comfortably. My summer clothes from last year are mostly too tight to wear because they were smaller to begin with.
This week the looser pants I had are starting to be too tight. I'm surprised it's so early, but I definitely have a tummy now. I am using the belly band for now and hoping to make it a few more weeks before maternity pants.

No they sure don't. But maternity pants are still too big, I haven't had a chance to get a bella band so I am doing to ole rubberband trick. Works wonders!!

No, my pants don't close. I am wearing my "fat" pants and need a rubber band to close them. I just broke down and bought a pair of maternity jeans and 2 pairs of pants for work. They're super comfortable, although a tad big yet.
I had to go out and buy a belly band for some of my pants. Others I can still wear but I'm not sure for how much longer. Like someone else said in the morning they usually fit fine but by mid to late day they are unbuttoned and I feel so fat. Oh well something that I'll have to get used to.

I don't understand why people need to be mean. If your pants don't fit (for either baby bump or bloat) they don't fit. Why not be comfy when your body is going through a lot right now. Who are they to say anything about you. They either need to get a hobby, job, or grow up past Jr. High.
Anyways, I'm still in most of my regular pants, but a few tighter skirts and pants are really too tight for comfort.
so far all my clothes fit fine, or are a little loose. I view this as a consolation prize for being fat and having to worry about pants not fiting way before I was ever PG.

Re: Do your pants close?
This is completely random but I'll share anyway. All I could think about when I read the subject line was;
Do your ears hand low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
That's it.
Everyone is different.
I still fit in all my clothes. But I have heard a lot of girls say they are already in maternity wear, or at least a bella band.
Ugh - people are vicious!!!!
