  Oh gosh, I can't exactly remember I think it was somewhere between 5-6 lb. But our twins have always had a big weight difference, so when the bigger guy outgrew the preemie diapers we moved the smaller guy into sz 1 (NB and preemie are the same size!). The sz 1 was big on him (went down to his knees and up to his armpits), but they worked fine.

  It was right around his due date so we was about 7 lbs. I *could* put him in newborns before then but the preemies fit better.

  Ours switched to newborn at/just before 6lbs. We're now on the cusp between newborn and size 1 at about 9lbs - newborn they can wet through, but they've both had leaky poopy diapers in the size 1 because the leg opening is looser.?

  I switched him right around 6lb, I think.. He could ahve probably worn them a bit longer, but we ran out and had plenty of NBs, and they fit fine, too, so we went ahead and switched.

  She was about 6 pounds.  They are the cutest little diapers.  I saved a few for her memory box.  She has on a preemie diaper in my siggie pic - it is so big on her!
