Another RWG Question

I know ultrasounds are few and far between at RWG, but do they ever check the heartbeat at appointments? I don't think DH needs to be at any of my non-ultrasound appointments, but I'd hate for him to miss hearing the heartbeat for the first time if they do it during a non-ultrasound visit.

    yep, they start around your 12ish week appt and then check every time you go in after that.

    Ditto.  They tried to look for it at my 10w appointment but couldn't find it on the doppler.  I was a panicked mess until I had my first u/s at 13w.

    They start checking for it at 12wks and then do it at every appt. For me, the nurse who does all your vitals did it right when we got in the room and it was a really quick thing... like less than a minute but cool none the less.
