Babies: 0 - 3 Months

If you have pro pics w/ your LO, please come in...

DD will be turning 6 months in a couple of days...I can't believe how fast it has gone by.  And like many others, I will be celebrating this occasion by shoving her in front of many flashing lights and making her extremely uncomfortable...ahhhh memories.  I hate being in pictures, but since I have hardly any pictures of me and DD together, I figured I might as well get in on the action.  Does anyone have any tips to make me feel better?  Am I going to be stuck trying to think of poses for us?  Or will they take out half of the awkwardness by telling me what to do?  Any advice on what to wear or how to do makeup?  I like the natural look, but from what I remember about  my dance picture days, I should put makeup on extra heavy....please help me!  Sorry this is so long.

  • We took photos at JCPenney's... Quick and painless. She gave us basic poses and snapped quickly. I didn't wear any more makeup than usual... Here's the pic:

  • I hired a professional photographer. For pictures that included me and DH she did black and white, which she said is more flattering and no make-up necessary. And we did all candids, no posing at all.

  • I'm the manager of a studio.. we take suggestions for poses IF you have them otherwise we run with it.. you can make preferences like "i only want a close up" or "i want one where i'm looking at her and not at the camera"..i wouldn't wear any crazy patterns that can make your photo look dated in a year.. if your used to wearing no makeup then wear light make up at least.. i hope this helps!! good luck!!

  • Thank you for the tips ladies!  I think I will just do my makeup normally.  I am nervous about posing, but I am sure they will try to make the pictures look not awkward.  Now I just have to figure out what to wear...
